Darlington have announced the signing of former Leyton Orient defender Clayton Fortune.

The 25-year-old centre-back joined Orient in 2006 but was released at the end of last season, having also spent a spell on loan at Port Vale.

Fortune started his career with Tottenham before moving to Bristol City.
