Darlington have swooped to sign Middlesbrough midfielder Jason Kennedy on a two-year deal.

The 21-year-old, who was due to become a free agent next month, was a virtual ever-present for the Quakers after joining on loan in February and helped Dave Penney's men reach the play-offs.

"It's a perfect move for me and a chance to play week in, week out," said Kennedy.
