Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has completed the signing of striker Calvin Andrew from Luton.

The 21-year-old made his debut for the Eagles during a 4-3 friendly win at Aldershot on Thursday evening after Palace agreed a cut-price fee with Luton's administrators.

Andrew has made 67 appearances for the Hatters, many as a substitute, and scored six goals.

He will provide valuable competition in a Palace attack which recently lost Clinton Morrison, who has turned down a new contract with the south Londoners.

"We've signed Calvin now, but it's nothing like the £400,000 that has been reported, it's nowhere near six figures," Warnock told the Croydon Advertiser.

"We are pleased to have him because we don't have anybody like that in the squad."
