Chester have completed their first signing of the summer by securing the services of Yeovil midfielder Anthony Barry.

The 22-year-old, who made 25 appearances for the Glovers in League One last term, has put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal that will keep him at the Deva Stadium until summer 2010.

Barry began his career at Liverpool as a schoolboy before crossing Stanley Park to join Everton as a trainee.

The combative midfielder has also had short stints at Championship side Coventry and League Two rivals Accrington during his four-year professional career.
