Chester have confirmed the dates of four of the club's pre-season friendlies as they gear up for another season in League Two.

Simon Davies' side will travel to face Merseyside outfit Southport on July 15 and will follow up with a game at home against League One play-off semi-finalists Carlisle on July 22.

Former City hero Roberto Martinez will bring his promoted Swansea side to the Deva Stadium on July 31, after which Davies' men will travel to AFC Telford on August 2 to round off their preparations.
