Striker Chris Iwelumo insisted the chance to join Wolves was too good to turn down after signing a two-year contract at Molineux.

The 29-year-old has made the switch from Championship rivals Charlton to replace Freddy Eastwood and is eager to prove himself.

He said: "As a club Wolves speaks for itself.

"It's a fantastic club and I'm delighted to be here and hopefully I will bring something to the table.

"I get labelled as a target man because I'm 6ft 3in and I will win my fair share of headers but I like to score a wee goal here and there as well.

"That's what it's all about and hopefully I can keep that going here."
