Charlton are releasing defender Osei Sankofa when his contract expires at the end of June.
The 23-year-old, who spent the latter end of the season on loan at Brentford, has made just 19 appearances in six years at The Valley.
"We both felt it was time that Osei got first-team football," Addicks boss Alan Pardew told the club's official website.
"He's at an age where reserve football is no good to him, and therefore we've decided to give him that opportunity elsewhere.
"I wish him all the best because he has been a very good professional for this football club."
Sankofa is the third out-of-contract player released by Charlton, following in the footsteps of Cory Cibbs and Chris Powell.
