Bury have announced the appointment of Mark Catlin as the club's new commercial director.

A brief statement on the club's official website confirmed Catlin will assume his duties at Gigg Lane with immediate effect.

The Shakers, who currently lie ninth in League Two, face a trip to Aldershot this weekend in the first round of the FA Cup.
