Bury boss Alan Knill believes Bury are heading "in the right direction" after they drew 0-0 at Burton.
Knill applauded his injury-hit side for extending their unbeaten run to nine games in a hard-fought League Two contest.
He said: "I don't think there's many (teams) in the league who have gone nine unbeaten and it tells me that we are going in the right direction without a doubt.
"We look as though we are enjoying our football, and I like that.
"There's progression from last season because we are playing with more pace and energy."
