Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen has committed his future to the club after agreeing a new two-year contract.
The 32-year-old Dane's current deal was due to expire this summer, but he has now verbally agreed a new contract which will run until the end of the 2009/10 campaign.
Clarets boss Owen Coyle said: "I'm delighted that Brian has verbally agreed a new two-year deal.
"He understands there will be fierce competition, but we welcome his decision and look forward to him signing in due course."
Jensen, Burnley's current longest-serving player, arrived at Turf Moor from West Brom in the summer of 2003 and has made 19 league starts this season.
