Bristol Rovers captain Stuart Campbell does not expect Rickie Lambert to get a rough ride from Pirates fans on Friday night.
Lambert returns to the Memorial Stadium for the first time since his big-money move to Southampton in August when the League One rivals meet in the FA Cup first round.
The Liverpudlian scored 59 goals in 139 starts in a prolific three-year spell with Rovers and Campbell expects the 27-year-old striker to get a good reception from the home supporters.
He told Press Association Sport: "Rickie was a great player for us with the number of goals he scored and I think he will get a good reception.
"He was great for us and he is in good form and doing well at Southampton. I just hope he has an off night on Friday."
