Brighton boss Micky Adams will make a decision on trialist Michael Haswell following the club's four-day trip to Ireland.

The AFC Wimbledon left-back has been training with the Seagulls for the past week and has been invited on their pre-season tour.

"He trained with us last week and he will come to Ireland with us, we will see him in a game over there and he will play against Worthing (on Saturday) so we will have a good look at him," said Adams.

"We have to make a decision on him then. I don't think it would be fair if we took any longer than that and also we have promised Wimbledon a decision by then."

Adams is short of cover at left-back with last season's loanee Matt Richards back at Ipswich and long-serving Kerry Mayo having been released.
