Brighton manager Micky Adams has appointed his former number two Bob Booker as reserve-team boss at the Withdean Stadium.

The 50-year-old is leaving his current role at local side Seaford and returning to the club eight years after Adams first appointed him assistant manager.

Dean White will remain Adams' assistant after Dean Wilkins opted not to take up the offer of a coaching role.

"I am pleased to bring Bob back to the club," said Adams. "He worked tirelessly in his first spell and played a huge part in the club's success."

Meanwhile, Adams is taking AFC Wimbledon left-back Michael Haswell on the club's four-day tour of Ireland, which begins on Tuesday.
