Brighton boss Micky Adams will be on familiar - and unhappy - territory when he begins his second spell in charge with a trip to Crewe.
The Seagulls were beaten 2-1 at Gresty Road on the opening day of last season under Dean Wilkins while Adams' last visit, with Coventry, ended in a 4-1 drubbing.
"I got hammered there a couple of seasons ago as Coventry manager in the league before Crewe were relegated," said Adams.
"I cannot say it is one of my happy hunting grounds. Crewe are renowned as a passing, well-drilled club, so it will be a tough game, but I am not too disappointed that the first fixture is away.
"It gives us a bit of time to bed in before a difficult home game against Bristol Rovers."
