Brighton caretaker boss Martin Hinshelwood is determined to shrug off the uncertainty surrounding the club and guide them to victory at Wycombe in the FA Cup this weekend.

Director of football Hinshelwood and coaches Charlie Oatway and Steve Brown are in temporary charge while the search continues for a successor to Russell Slade, who was axed last Sunday.

"Training has been excellent this week and the squad have worked hard - I couldn't ask any more of them," said Hinshelwood.

"We will go with what we think is a team that can beat Wycombe on Saturday. It might mean one or two players coming back in but hopefully the side we pick will be the best side."
