Brentford have confirmed the signings of non-league duo Moses Ademola and Sam Wood are almost complete thanks to backing from outside parties.

Striker Ademola, 19, and left-back Wood, 21, were both at the club's Player of the Year awards last week ahead of the moves after agreeing terms on the deal.

Wood arrives from Blue Square South side Bromley thanks to backing from the Brentford Lifeline Society while Ademola will sign from Ryman League Division One South Croydon, with his move financed by Nick and Rich Hester, who are the editors of the club's fanzine, "Thorne in the Side".

Nick Hester told the club's official website: "We are delighted to be able to offer some financial assistance to Andy Scott as we fully understand that the pennies turn into pounds and being able to assist him with Moses will allow him to maybe increase the squad still further."
