Brentford boss Andy Scott insists he is already looking forward to a busy summer after the Bees ended their season with a 1-0 defeat at Stockport.

Scott acknowledges that he faces a tough task turning Brentford's fortunes around next season.

He said: "I've already been told what my budget is for next season and there are going to be wholesale changes in the summer.

"I'm going to have to be very astute in the transfer market because we can't keep putting in performances like that next season.

"We didn't defend well, we didn't win any midfield battles, and we didn't score any goals.

"That pretty much sums up the day for us."
