Bradford boss Stuart McCall has dismissed as "a load of tosh" speculation linking him with the manager's job at Hearts.
The Scottish Premier League club's controversial owner Vladimir Romanov has been reported to want a new man at the helm before Hearts head to Germany for their pre-season tour on July 20 and McCall has been linked with the vacancy.
But the former Rangers midfielder told the club's official website: "I know nothing about it. It sounds like a load of tosh.
"The only link I can possibly think of is that Campbell Ogilvie, the Hearts chief executive, used to be secretary at Rangers.
"He's a real football man and a real gentleman and whether people are looking at that as the connection, I don't know. But I've not heard anything at all and I don't expect to. I'm happy with the job I want to do here."
Hearts have been without a proper manager since George Burley quit after only four months in charge in 2005, with Romanov since installing different coaches who consulted with him over team selection and transfers.
