Bradford have taken former Everton youngster Shaun Densmore on trial.
The 19-year-old, who was released by Toffees boss David Moyes at the end of last season, has joined up with the Bantams squad for their pre-season campaign.
Despite regularly playing in Everton's reserves and picking up the Academy player of the year in 2007 - the youngster failed to gain a second professional contract at Goodison.
But ex-Toffee and current City boss Stuart McCall is keen for the youngster to shine at Valley Parade.
He told the Telegraph & Argus: "We saw he was available and asked his agent if Shaun wanted to join us for pre-season so we could have a look at him.
"Obviously we're only training at the moment but we'll have him here for a couple of weeks and see what we think."
