Bradford have completed the signing of former Tranmere midfielder Paul McLaren.

The 31-year-old, released from Prenton Park last month, has signed a two-year deal at Valley Parade and his arrival follows hot on the heels of the capture of Graeme Lee.

McLaren began his career at Luton and moved on to Sheffield Wednesday in 2001. He then spent two seasons at Rotherham before teaming back up with former Millers boss Ronnie Moore at Tranmere.

McLaren is Bantams manager Stuart McCall's fourth summer signing, with Lee, Huddersfield midfielder Chris Brandon and Carlisle defender Paul Arnison all boosting his squad in time for new season.
