Bradford new boy Paul Arnison cannot wait to savour the big crowds at Valley Parade during the 2008/9 season.
Gates of 13,000-plus regularly attended City's home games last season and former Hartlepool defender Arnison, snapped up by Stuart McCall after his release from Carlisle earlier this month, eagerly awaits the experience.
Arnison told the club's official website: "I'm aware of the expectation here and I'm ready for it. You've got to take pressure in any job, but especially football when there's 13,000 people shouting at you."
The 30-year-old added: "At Hartlepool, we were only getting attendances of 4,000 or so. Carlisle was better, but the manager told me of the crowds we'll get at Bradford and it's fantastic.
"It lifts you when there are that many fans behind you. The expectation is there, but you deal with the pressure.
"This club shouldn't be in this division, but we are and it will be down to us to get out."
