Bradford manager Stuart McCall could not conceal his disappointment despite seeing his side come from two goals down at half-time to secure a point at Macclesfield.

The Bantams went in behind at the break following goals from Junior Daniel and Emile Sinclair.

But McCall's side bounced back in eight frantic second-half minutes. James Hanson rose above the home defence to nod a James O'Brien corner back across goal to give the Yorkshire side a lifeline.

Then in the 66th minute Macclesfield goalkeeper Jon Brain could only flap at Michael Flynn's long-range shot allowing Steve Williams to bury the equaliser from four yards.

But McCall said: "I'm disappointed that we've thrown away a win, we came off at half-time 2-0 down, but we created so many chances and I said to them if you believe you can win this game you still can.

"The boys showed a lot of character and resilience and it's a mark of how far we've come, but I'm disappointed with a point rather than pleased that we've got back into the game. To be blunt they did need a kick up the backside at half-time because our defending had been very sloppy."
