Bournemouth striker Jo Kuffour will miss out on his side's pre-season encounter against Hamworthy Recreation on Tuesday with a hernia injury.

The game marks the beginning of the Cherries' preparations for their League Two campaign, but Kuffour will have to sit out the game, leaving manager Kevin Bond with Brett Pitman as the only available senior striker for the game.

Midfielder Shaun Cooper is also likely to miss out with a thigh injury, but trialist Sammy Igoe is expected to feature in the match.
