Midfielder Danny Hollands is keen to stay at Bournemouth despite their relegation to League Two.
Having joined from Chelsea in 2006, the 22-year-old has established himself as a key member of the first team and is keen to continue his development at Dean Court if he can agree a suitable extension to his contract which expires in the summer.
He told the Daily Echo: "From a personal point of view it wasn't a bad season and I thought I did quite well.
"I made a lot more appearances than in my first season and also got my fair share of goals. But although I felt I did okay, I would have swapped everything for staying up."
He added: "I'd like to stay but it's not always as easy as that. There are a lot of things that go on and you have to agree things. When you get relegated, there is a budget you have to reach as a club.
"I'm not a greedy person by any means but I just want to be treated fairly. If I am then I'm sure I will stay. I've spoken to the club and am just waiting for the chairman to send me an offer."
