Blackburn manager Mark Hughes has revealed his plans for the new season are already well under way.
Having already added midfielder Johann Vogel to the squad in March and signing Martin Olsson, Matt Derbyshire and Stephen Warnock on new deals, Hughes is already scouring the markets for new faces.
Hughes told the club's official website: "The process starts almost as soon as the window shuts, you get over one window and you plan for the next one, that is how it is.
"You've got to take opportunities to look at players if you can and that is what I've been able to do this week.
"I'm hopeful of getting some good quality into the squad, I hope to spend the money that I get well. We've been able to do that in recent times and if we continue in that vein then we'll add quality to the quality that we already have."
