Luke Steele has been fined £1,000 by the Football Association and warned about his future conduct after breaking rules on shirt sponsors.

The Barnsley goalkeeper admitted two breaches of advertising rules after ignoring several warnings last season about a logo on the collar of a shirt he wore underneath his goalkeeping jersey.

Steele, signed on a permanent basis from West Brom earlier in the close season following his successful loan spell, wore the top against Liverpool in the FA Cup and then in subsequent league games against Hull and Leicester.
