Daniel Nardiello has returned to QPR after being told he has no future at Barnsley.

Tykes manager Simon Davey has decided against offering the 25-year-old striker a permanent deal following his return to Oakwell on loan half way through the season.

Davey offered Nardiello a new deal last summer, but the former Manchester United trainee opted for a lucrative move to London with QPR.

Nardiello found first-team starts hard to come by at Loftus Road and jumped at the chance of a return to Barnsley in January, but scored just one goal in 12 appearances for the Tykes.
