Mark Robins reserved special praise for goalkeeper Luke Steele following Barnsley's 1-0 victory over Watford.
Emil Hallfredsson netted nine minutes into the second half before the former Manchester United reserve prevented the Hornets from snatching a point in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
Henri Lansbury's free-kick from 28 yards was heading towards the back of the net before Steele turned the ball round a post.
And Tykes boss Robins said: "He hasn't had a lot to do but he has made a world-class save and earned us the three points here."
Robins admitted his side had been lucky when Watford saw a goal disallowed for pushing in the Barnsley box.
He added: "I thought we were fortunate that the ref disallowed it."
